omniFIT Anaerobics..."The Complete Locking , Retaining and Sealing System" by Henkel Adhesives.
A patented new technolgy in the field of anaerobics is now available to engineers, production managers and those involved in the selection of liquid locking devices for product assembly.

omniFIT threadlockers preserve on-torque and distribu te the load over the entire engagement length of the fastener, eliminating premature fatigue and locking all threads that are subject to vibration and loosening.
omni-FIT retainers are used for the cylindrical mating of parts, such as bearings, pulleys and gears, eliminating the need for press or shrink fits and are the cost effective way to mount cylindrical devices.

omniFIT Packaging and Storage
Available in 10, 50, 250 and 2000 gallon containers. A unique transparent strip along the side of the container makes it easy to see the liquid level at all times.

**PRODUCT DESCRIPTION and RECOMMENDED USES**
	omniFIT Anaerobic Adhesives / Gasket and Pipe Sealants
	omniFIT 1150 is used for low-strength threadlocking where easy disassembly is required. It can also be used as a general purpose thread sealant. Typical applications include small screws and water and gas fittings. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type II, Grade M omnIFIT 1350 is a general purpose threadlocking adhesive for nuts, bolts and screws. Its medium strength perits easy disassembly. It can be used for locking or sealing hydraulic and pneumatic fittings and low strength bearing mountings. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type II, Grade N. omniFIT 1550 is a high strength adhesive for threaded fasteners and studs up to one inch in diameter. On threaded fasteners it is ideal for high load or high vibration applications. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type I, Grade K omniFIT1560 is a high-strength adhesive for locking threaded fasteners that must withstand severe conditions. It's designed to prevent fasteners from loosening under high shock or severe temperature environments. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type II, Grade 0 omniFIT 1570 is a high-strength, non-migrating adhesive for threaded fasteners and studs over one inch in diameter. It has all the properties of omniFIT 1550 plus a higher viscosity for added gap filling requirements of larger threads. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type I, Grade L omniFIT 1710 is a high-strength penetrating adhesive for locking preassembled parts. Its wicking action allows it to be applied after parts are assembled. Commonly used for sealing pinhole leaks in welded, soldered or brazed assemblies. Military Spec: MIL-S-46163 Type III, Grade R omniFIT 1730 is a general purpose retaining compound used for mounting or retaining bearings, gears, pulleys and rotors Especially useful for press-fit parts.Military Spec: MIL-R-46082B Type I omniFITI 1750 is a high strength, high-temperature retaining compound used for mounting and retaining cylindrical parts. Its medium viscosity gives good flow control and prevents the adhesive from being drawn into unwanted areas. Military Spec: MIL-R-46082B Type II omniFIT1780 is a high-strength adhesive for locking and retaining bearings, gears and pulleys. It is also useful for mounting sleeves, rotors and bushings.Military Spec: MIL-R-46082B Type III omniFIT 1790 is a high viscosity, non-migrating retaining compound for uses requiring maximum gap filling. It's thixotropic properties also allow it to be used on worn assemblies as a quick repair solution. omniFIT INSTANT GASKET 10 is a low-strength adhesive used to seal flanges, pipes, pumps, fittings or housings where easy disassembly is important. omniFIT INSTANT GASKET 20 is a high-strength adhesive suitable for most gasketing applications. It seals flanges or dresses conventional gaskets where fast setting, gap-filling or structural integrity is required. omniFIT PIPEGRIP Pipe Sealant with Teflon~ is a high performance anaerobic sealant for sealing all threaded metal systems, including stainless steel and aluminum.E

Information on Threadlocking, Retaining and Sealing using omniFIT anaerobics

Threadlocking
OMNIFIT adhesives lock all kinds of threads that are subject to transverse and axial loads against vibrational loosening. They reduce production costs and improve reliability by eliminating lock washers and other expensive locking devices. They preserve on-torque and distribute the load over the entire engagement length of the fastener, effectively eliminating premature material fatigue and fastener failure.OMNIFIT threadlocking adhesives are available in a variety of strength ranges, making it possible for the engineer to specify the optimum breakaway and prevailing torques for a particular assembly.

Retaining
OMNIFIT anaerobic adhesives reliably retain cylindrical mating parts such as bearings, pulleys, couplings, rotors and gears. They eliminate the need for press or shrink fits and provide up to twice the shear strength of these methods of assembly on slip-fit parts. OMNIFIT retaining compounds also allow the elimination of keyways, set screws, splines, tapers and knurls, while greatly increasing the reliability of an assembly. Or they can be used to augment these systems to prevent wallowing, eliminate play and increase strength up to three times. These compounds are the cost effective way to mount cylindrical parts. They greatly reduce machining costs because they allow the engineer to open up tolerances. And they reduce the cost of maintenance and overhaul by restoring the fit in worn housings, eliminating the need for reboring and grinding. OMNIFIT retaining compounds are available in a range of viscosities to allow any application from post assembly on press-fit parts to gap filling of .024 inches.y and prevailing torques for a particular assembly.

Sealing
OMNIFIT anaerobic adhesives offer many ways to meet your gasketing and sealing requirements. They seal threads, pipes and flanges against water, lubricating oils and fuels, as well as hydraulic fluids, solvents, and most chemicals and since they contain no solvents, they don't shrink upon curing, providing a tough positive seal which closes off thread leak paths and prevents vibration loosening. OMNIFIT Instant Gaskets will not stretch, tear or relax and because they are formed in place they always fit the parts to be mated. In addition, they immediately achieve pressure resistance up to 90 psi on closely mated parts and can withstand 5500 psi when fully cured. OMNIFIT wicking grade products will seal pinhole leaks and porosities in soldered and welded assemblies or castings. These instant gaskets and sealants eliminate the need for tapes, special pipe dopes and a large inventory of pre-cut gaskets, And their rapid setting characteristics minimize the amount of time that an assembly is out of service.
